US CURRENCY

A reinterpretation of the United States’ $1, $20, and $50 notes through a more inclusive and feminist lens. Emphasizing the fact the US is a melting pot of different cultures, three different women that amplify this message are on the front of the bills: Annie Moore, Sandra Cisneros, and Patsy Mink.

The upper right of each bill has braille indicating its value for accessibility. Each bill is also a slightly different size for further accessibility; the $1 is the smallest at 2.41 x 5.74 in., the $20 is 2.51 x 5.94 in., and the $50 is 2.61 x 6.14 in. The color palette chosen is purposefully bright and playful to contrast the current US bills.
