HISTORY OF CORSETS
An editorial encompassing the history of corsetry, from girdles in 1500 BC to the modern resurgence of them in fashion. It was created using a combination of original images as well as images of extant garments and textiles compiled from various online sources.
Information was sourced from a variety of fashion history books and videos.
The bright color palette juxtaposes the historical nature of the corsets; most people think of corsets as a relic of the past, and with this editorial I bring a modern edge to the subject.
